Welcome to our chat! Here you can find some useful information that will help you become familiar with the features that our chat offers. Depending on the settings set by the administrator of this chat the information below might not be 100% accurate.

In order to use the chat you have to register an account. Your username is case-sensitive and must be between 3 and 16 letters. Please provide a valid email address - an activation message will be sent to the given email address.

You need to login with your registered username and password. Please note that you may be unable to login if your account is inactive. An account can be activated via email at the time of registration or manually by the administrator of the chat.

Forgotten password can be reset by following the link PASSWORD and submitting the email address given at the time of registration. The password is encrypted in our database and cannot be recovered - a new password will be sent to you via email. You can always replace this randomly chosen password from your PROFILE.

You are welcome to submit some information about you that is visible in chat: location, age, gender and website if you have one. You are also welcome to select an avatar image by choosing one from our list, by entering a URL address or by uploading a photo. If you upload a photo it must not exceed 200kB and the picture file will be checked for validity. Your email address is not displayed in chat.

Keep in mind that if you change your email address you may need to re-validate your account. When you change your password you will be logged out automatically in order to login with the new one.

Once logged in you can alter the settings of the chat by following the link SETTINGS at the bottom of the room list. Select your timezone, time format, whether you would like to hear sounds and see emoticons and colored messages in chat. To enter a chat room and start a chat session you simply need to click on any of the rooms in the list. Some rooms may be protected by a password. Such rooms are inaccessible if you do not know the password.

The chat interface is as simple as possible. You can select your online status [online, away, invisible] with the links at the top. Keep in mind that you will go online automatically when you send a public message. Chat messages that are not visible in the chat area are still accessible from HISTORY. With the button COLOR and the 3 tiny icons [bottom/left] you can format your messages. The button SOUND would turn on/off the sound alerts for the current chat session only. Muting all the sound effects can be set from SETTINGS. You are allowed to insert emoticons in your messages: click on SMILES and then click on the one[s] that is appropriate.

The chat allows you to send quick one-2-one messages to particular chatters. Click on a username from the online list, type the message in the provided input box and press ENTER. You can invite the chatter to start a private conversation with you by clicking on PRIVATE CHAT link.

If you do not want to hear John who get on your nerves - click on IGNORE and select a period to ignore him. You are not going to miss John's message in the period - the whole chat log is kept in HISTORY. You want John back? Click on IGNORE one more time and unignore him.

In order to invite a chatter to start a private chat with you, you have to click on his/her name from the online list and then on the PRIVATE CHAT link. The invitation will be set as a quick one-2-one message that is visible for you and him/her only. There are options to insert emoticons, choose colors and format your messages.

You are allowed to upload and share files in chat. Click on the button FILES. A popup window, where you will be able to choose and upload a file from you PC, will be opened. With the radio boxes set the type of the file. If it is an image and you would like to display it inline select PICTURE. Please note that images are checked for validity so that you cannot upload another type of file as an image. Files are considered as expired and deleted after a period of time automatically.

Under the upload form you can see the list of your files with options to paste a specially formatted link for each file in chat. This specially formatted link can also be copied in order to be used in a private chat or when whispering.

Our chat accepts video links so you can share, watch and comment your favorite YouTube videos directly in chat! Video sources that are recognized and displayed properly are: YouTube, MySpace, DailyMotion, MetaCafe and GoogleVideo.

In order to copy and paste the proper video link, look for Video link, Link, Video URL or Permalink when watching the video - in most cases links are provided next to the video. YouTube and MetaCafe URLs can be copied directly from the address bar of your browser. It is necessary to put the video link between video tags:
